Our intent is to be music focused and not chart-focused, so we only report milestones as any million ending in 5 or 0 for example 45M or 100M. FAQ
Playlist Creation tips:
•Filtration only matters for songs that end up on global (so singles or title tracks, e.g. "Wild Flower").
•It is fine to repeat a song with only two fillers (or even no fillers) in between each play if it is not a single or a song with a chance of being on Spotify global. Plays of any song (even if it's the same song on repeat) count for the Spotify stream counter.
•Do NOT use playlists that do not have 50% or more Indigo (right now even that is a bit low)
•When making a mixed-focus playlist, focus only on Indigo/Wild Flower & 1-2 other albums or singles MAXIMUM. Indigo will not rise at all if the wrong playlists are used. Indigo is an album and deserves to be treated as such.Notes for Indigo on Spotify: The Renaissance app system only recognizes the 2nd version (where all artists are linked, not just RM). This doesn't affect Spotify streams at all. It's a problem unique to Renaissance. A better Spotify stream tracker is last.fm!
